consumer mailing lists database

How do I remove the dead relatives of the mailing lists?

My grandfather died 11 years ago and still receive mail (R - Applications for credit cards, consumer surveys, etc.). I know all of their spam, but after 11 years, the databases must be updated. Writing late in the envelope and return has not worked for the past 11 years. None have called for companies. Does anyone know how to contact companies sell demographic data so that it can be updated?

Usually, if you write late into the envelope before sending it back to the company will sending the mail. Or make copies of the death certificate to send to the company with a formal letter asking to withdraw his name.
