Tips for filling up more customers and keep the ones you have?
I feel I have exhausted all marketing plans, so direct marketing to direct mail, Internet marketing. I have carefully crafted a business plan, found my place and think I've done a good job people to know I'm here. People come to visit my website and it is practically all you do, flock. I know it is normal for small businesses to spend by that stage the phones stop ringing, email stops coming in and people tend to leave there tracks before they reach you. owners small businesses, how to overcome this? All you have to treat? What happens to my website, www.nickelsanddimes.biz? Is there anything that could be improved? Thanks for your answer
Hi Amy, You said you had people flocking to the site, but obviously no one was interested in getting rid of cash for their services. I looked at the site and at first I thought the site was possibly still under construction because I kept seeing basically the same on every page. Many people do not want to have to scroll down too far. I forget what the stats are for how long we can keep someone's attention, but only a few seconds, I remember a lot, but I do not remember if it's 10 seconds or 3. I remember my days in HTML / web design school is recommended to keep each page to a size screenshot. Also in the column sections are too long or seems a bit empty, so empty …. maybe wrap the text from one column to another those items could be a consideration. If I were to advertise, I would like to see an example of what the brochure (?) Appears, a sort of get an idea of what type of product that comes out. I'm not clear on whether it is a "local" thing or worldwide. Perhaps I have not read everything. A couple of things-nit demanding …. There are a couple of cases I believe in the word "now" should "know is there in place and also in its advertising page where it says" After the publicatin Nickels and Dimes date placed a poll on his website to find out how many people have downloaded and read our mail. "Failure to publish the" or ". I only mention this because bad spelling, etc. .. in a professional business website can take the place …. I do not mean to criticize, because I am of the worlds' in the worse, sometimes spelling and evidence of my work and, sometimes, when I make my own armor … the floor looks good to me in my mind. Maybe if you passed the information higher on the myspace thing with the lower columns, people come to their "content" faster. However, I know how time can be web development consuming and deciding to change a site is certainly an individual choice. Color options are good and give pleasant warmth. Anyway … that is just my 'nickel and dime's worth 'jennifer ~
